In the 90's, when I was still at elementary school, Vidéotron released Vidéoway. Let's say it was the first version of Illico. Looked like a pornless internet running on a NES. Many days I went to my grandmother's to play one particular game: Temporel Inc.
This is not Temporel Inc, but it what a Vidéoway game used to look like.
A basic adventure game, a little like Maniac Mansion, where you choose action words and items (your inventory being made of words) to go through various puzzles.
Since I couldn't find any Temporel Inc screenshot, here's one of Maniac Mansion instead. The reason I'm talking about this game is that I'm currently working on trying to recreate the old graphics of Temporel Inc to make a not-pimped remake with that guy. Here's a screenshot with intentional vomit looking graphics and low resolution. Fullscreen 200x150.
The words are in french, since the game itself was. They are, you've probably guessed, action words (use, push, eat, taste, pull, etc). This is not a real game scene, just a mix of the sprites I made yet.
